Synergy of Science and Manufacturing: Bauer’s Medical Group and Dnipro State Medical University Sign a Memorandum of Cooperation
Bauer’s Medical Group and Dnipro State Medical University have officially signed a Memorandum of Cooperation, bringing together the capabilities of modern Ukrainian manufacturing and medical education.
The main goal of the partnership is to strengthen the practical training of future dental professionals and bring the educational process closer to real-world professional practice. The cooperation will provide students with opportunities to gain hands-on experience, explore modern technologies, and develop a deeper understanding of the processes they will encounter in their future careers.
From Theory to Practice
The Memorandum provides for student visits to Bauer’s Medical Group’s high-precision manufacturing facility in Dnipro, where they will become familiar with technological processes and quality control. The partnership also includes practical workshops in implant dentistry, hands-on training with educational models, and an introduction to modern CAD/CAM technologies.

Working with Real Clinical Cases
A special format of the cooperation will be the «Implant Case Quest». Students will work in teams on clinical cases — from initial diagnostics and selecting appropriate solutions to developing a comprehensive treatment plan. Particular attention will be paid to digital technologies and current approaches in maxillofacial surgery.

From an Idea to Your Own Clinic
Another area of cooperation will be the educational module «From an Idea to a Clinic». Students will learn the fundamentals of developing their own medical project, including market analysis, equipment selection, marketing, workflow organization, and key legal aspects.
Anastasiia Bardasova: «It is important for a modern medical intern to understand not only the medical aspects of the profession but also how a clinic functions as an integrated system. We want to give students a practical understanding of this process — from the initial idea to the implementation of their own project».
A Strategic Focus: Research and Development
An important component of the Memorandum is the development of joint research activities. Dnipro State Medical University and Bauer’s Medical Group plan to conduct fundamental and applied research in dentistry, osseointegration, and materials science.
The implementation of research projects, analysis of clinical cases, and development of innovative solutions will involve not only leading Ukrainian scientists and practicing surgeons but also recognized international experts and researchers.
