Surgical suture material by Bauer's Biomaterials
Bauer's Biomaterials provides absorbent and non-absorbent suture materials designed for use in surgery to connect tissues by suturing. The chemical-physical and functional properties of the suture material and the perfection of the needle with optimal sharpness ensure smooth passage of tissue throughout the suturing.
The special characteristics of the suture material provide high strength, excellent knotting and minimal tissue reaction.
NANOCRYL - Sterile absorbent synthetic braided suture Polyglactin 910 consists of copolymers that are formed from 90% glycolides and 10% L-lactides. Covering of suture material – poly and calcium stearate.
Synthetic absorbent thread NANOCRYL Polyglactin 910 is indicated only for use in superficial approximation of the soft tissues of the skin and mucous membranes. The suture retains its tensile strength for approximately two to three weeks in the tissue and is completely absorbed by hydrolysis within 56 to 70 days. The improved tensile strength provides wound support for 28 to 32 days.

ULTRALON is a sterile non-absorbable polyamide surgical monofilament.
To improve the visibility of the thread in the tissues, monofilament polyamides are colored, which allows for the surgical removal of ULTRALON without unnecessary interference and consequences.
INDICATIONS:
The monofilament polyamide suture ULTRALON is indicated for soft tissue approximation and/or alloying, including in cardiovascular, ophthalmic and neurological procedures.
The impeccable smoothness of the surface makes it impossible for the growth of bacteria with subsequent capillary action. The elasticity of ULTRALON minimizes movement through tissues, which in turn ensures a high cosmetic effect.
It is intended for use in various surgical areas depending on the clinical case.
